We are seeking an exceptional Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to join our UK office providing the technical link between our European customers and Ultraleap. You will work closely with customers to resolve, guide and generate technical solutions which enable them to incorporate our technology into their end products and solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted technical bridge between external customer and internal product and engineering teams 
  • Lead customers on a technical journey from evaluation and exploration to integration and production
  • Work with the rapid prototyping creative team to design and build quick turnaround applications and associated haptic sensations
  • Conduct training sessions for demonstrating new products and services at customer sites and contribute to documentation and delivery of technical materials such as user guides, tutorials and application notes


Experience and Skill Set

  • BS degree in electronics or computer science or similar technical field of study
  • Proven experience in a similar role spanning software and hardware applications and solutions
  • Exceptional combination of technical and customer facing skills
  • Experience and ability to code in at least one of: C++, Unity or C#
  • Self-starter capable of working on own initiative


General Information

  • Regular travel, both European and international, will be required
  • This position is remote until June 2021, after which it will be onsite at Ultraleap’s Bristol HQ
